Known internationally as an outstanding yoga teacher since 1997, Caroline Klebl specializes in ashtanga yoga, which she learned from ashtanga yoga guru Sri K Pattabhi Jois in India. Klebl’s knowledge of the ancient art is extensive and reflected in the fact that her Yoga Teacher Training courses, workshops, and retreats have been enthusiastically received in the United States, Central and South America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. She has a background in Tibetan Buddhism, Iyengar and Viniyoga yoga, and studies of Sanskrit, Yoga Philosophy, and traditional Ayurvedic medicine.
In 2010, she received a PhD in Yoga from the Indian University of Alternative Medicine. Since that time, she has produced an instructional yoga dvd and authored the book, The Illustrated Guide to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Photographs of her asanas (yoga postures) were featured in a 2007 Ashtanga Yoga Calendar and a 2008 Yoga Calendar as well as in the pages and on the cover of magazines. She regularly contributes articles to yoga magazines and has trained over 500 people to become yoga instructors. Her renowned yoga teacher training courses focus on the practice of the over 70 yoga postures of the primary series of ashtanga yoga in addition to the yoga philosophy of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, meditation instruction, ayurveda, restorative asana practice and teaching techniques. Description of ashtanga intensive & 50-hour yoga teacher training
Caroline Klebl’s ashtanga intensive and yoga teacher training program is open to yoga teachers, aspiring teachers and all levels of yoga practitioner. Her yoga teacher training combines high standards of yoga asana practice with the development of teaching skills, which are necessary to introduce students to yoga practice safely and effectively. Hundreds of students have graduated from her renowned yoga teacher training programs.
• Practice of the over 70 postures of the Primary Series
• Intermediate series postures are taught to those who have completed the primary series
• The principles of Vinyasa, Bandha, Drishti and Ujjayi Pranayama

Asana practice is the main focus of the course. Additionally, you learn how to meditate, chant the yoga sutras, observe, adjust and practice teaching yoga poses. You experience the benefits of yoga practice first hand. Throughout the course you improve your strength and flexibility, reduce stress, improve your yoga posture practice and learn new yoga poses. The practices of yoga and meditation purify the body and mind and lead to spiritual awakening. By the end of the course you feel more relaxed, in better shape, focused and can begin teaching yoga with confidence.
To prepare for the course, please practice yoga asana, preferable ashtanga yoga 3 to 6 days a week. At the end of this training each student receives a 50-hour yoga teacher training certificate, which can be applied to 200 or 500-hour yoga certification or continuing education credits with the yoga alliance.
